yesterday was a lazy day. i was incredibly tired. i slept well. actually, i have been sleeping fairly well excluding this past evening. getting out of bed was a chore. i was greeted with some not so good work news. it made me want to stay in bed. as the day went on, i came to terms with it. today is a new day.
i want to thank everyone again for all of the support. it means so much. thank you. i am so blessed.
i have scheduled an appointment with my neurologist for Tuesday of next week. i hope Dr. Dahlquist will be able to shed light on the tingling in my arms and legs. i spoke with his nurse and he was livid that my surgeon did not keep him in the loop about my surgery.

hey patrick...
glad to hear your sleeping ok-wish the work news could have waited until your return to work. hope all is well with that and if there's anything you need please keep me in mind!
I have a special meeting at the mayor's office on friday! I am excited, but nervous-wish me luck (i'm kinda nervous!)!!
...[sigh] those dam surgens...hope your nurse checks him, if not then let me know-I got you covered! :)
Hey Pat! I just got your blog info from Mullin and logged in to see what has been going on...yikes! Just want you to know that Jay and I are thinking about you. So glad to hear that the type of tumor is non-cancerous...truly great news. The recovery from the surgury, I can only imagine, must be horrible and scary non the less. We'll be checking in for updates now and hoping you get some answers from your drs. regarding tingling and exhaustion...hopefully all just part of the recovery process. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. All the best! Lori and Jay Schneck
Hi Pat,
It was nice to see you today!!! Sorry, no food:(((
Your brother thinks you are eating too much!!!
I liked your new look. You should post some picture on your blog.

Patrick... I check your blog every day and if you haven't posted anything I get very nervous and feel like I need to bring you food and check your pulse!
This recovery period must seem like its been going on forever.... but the amazing thing is that your surgery was only 17 days ago and you are doing so well!! I hope that the worst is over and that you will start to get your energy back and feel like your old self (or maybe better).
Here's the good news.... there is nowhere to go and nothing to do in this weather anyway! Sleet, snow, rain, thunder, wind..... Minnesota at its best in April.
Stay tough... you are doing an amazing job of keeping us all in the loop.
YOM (your other mother)
Sandy Martin
Patrick - I'm happy to read that you are sleeping well. The fact that you are keeping somewhat current with your blog shows that their is still a lot "upstairs" and that's a good thing. - Rickey
